Ladi started piano lessons with Major J. G. C. Allen CMG, in Bath and Organ lesson with Garth Benson at St. Mary's Redcliffe, Bristol, before continuing his piano studies with Teo Li-Lin and the Organ with Peter Isherwood and Kenneth Tickell, at the Coventry School of Music. He moved on to the Birmingham Conservatoire where he studied the piano with Joseph Weingarten (a pupil of Dohnanyi), the organ with Richard Silk and conducting with Geoffery Duggan.
He was invited into the Honours Programme, completing a four-year course in three years. He studied for his post-graduate degree in Music Education at Goldsmith College, London University, under the tutorship of Dr. Janet Ritterman. He then proceeded to study for his Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music, studying with Professor John Stephens.
He has Directed many choirs including the Berridge Singers, St. Michael's Singers, Wolverhampton, C.B.S.O. Youth Choir and orchestras both in and out of school, given piano and organ recitals and composes and arranges music.
He was put forward by Peter Broadbent of the Association of British Choral Directors, to participate in an International Symposium for Choral Conductors at St Hilda's College Oxford, studying with Mike Brewer and Ralph Allwood - Precentor, Eton College. He has conducted the Choir of Queen Mary's High School, Walsall at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, and participated in Conducting Masterclass with Bruce Pullan.
Ladi has always worked in the field of music education as Head of Music at St Peter's Collegiate School, Wolverhampton, Blue Coat School Walsall and is presently Director of Music at Queen Mary's High School, Walsall.
He is also the Director of Music of Beckminster Methodist Church, Wolverhampton and Music Secretary of the Wolverhampton And Shrewsbury District of The Methodist Church of Great Britain
