On Saturday 14 October 2000 Finham Choral Society were proud to participate in the naming and dedication ceremony of Weston Super Mares newest life boat. This was the culmination of two years of fund raising by the people of Coventry and Warwickshire.

During the dedication service Finham Choral Society sang Sea Shanties. A concert of light music was given during the evening.
