About the Finham Choral Society

Finham Choral Society was founded in March 1980, as an adult, community choir. Over the years, the choir has grown in size, experience and expertise; and now has a membership of over 60 voices (S.A.T.B)

The Choir aims:

• to promote good singing
• provide musical pleasure to the local community and beyond
• support local and national charities

The Choir has developed a reputation for high quality singing in and around the Midlands of the United Kingdom. Concert venues have included Coventry (our home town), Bedworth, Birmingham, Codsall (Staffordshire), Croydon, Leamington Spa, Leicester, London, Manchester, Wakefield, Meifod in Wales, Warwick, Wellington (Shropshire) Wolverhampton, Weston-super-Mare, Jersey (C.I.) and Paris

The Choir is run by an appointed Committee which is made up of the Chairman, General Secretary, Minute Secretary, Treasurer, Events Organiser, Part Representatives and the Director of Music and Accompanist as Ex Officio members.

Finham Choral Society is affiliated with "Making Music".
